welcoming information as the Killers of a 59 year old woman got arrested by the Police

Ebonyi kidnappers that were arrested by the Police brought good news to the indigines of the state.

Ebonyi State Police Command yesterday paraded 23 kidnappers, robbery and cultism suspects in Ebonyi state 10 of the suspects are Mathew Ogbudike who is 29 years old and an ex soldier from Lokpanta Abia state, Chibuike Okereke, Ezenwa Nnazor, Kelechukwu Azubuike, Obichi Uzoigwe, John Nwankwo, Egu Chimezie, Chigozie Enyinaya and Umeore Udochukwu. Among those 10 suspects that kidnapped, killed and buried a 59 year old woman in Ishiagu, Ivo Local Government Area of the state, Mrs Catherine Okorie in a grave.

 News reaching us is that all The suspects hail from Ebonyi, Enugu and Anambra States. Parading the suspects before journalists at the police headquarters, Abakali­ki, the state Commissioner of police, Titus Lamorde, said the suspects were arrested at different locations. He disclosed that Chigozie Enyinnaya and Umeore Udochukwu supply arms to the kidnappers and have confessed to the crime.

 Further information reaching us was that The suspects also confessed to the kidnapping of one Uchenna Emeblu at Ishiagu along Enugu Port Harcourt Expressway on the 30th of january,2017 and collected the sum of N400,000 as ransom, robbed one Emeka John on the 25th of December ,2016 and shot him in the eye, Chigozie Enyinnaya said. Lamorde disclosed that on the 27th of February,2017, one Ignatus Edeh of Ofenakpa Inyimagu,Ikwo Local Government Area of the state was arrested for defraud­ing one Nweke Joseph of N1.2million and was about to defraud a Catholic Priest of 0ne million Naira when he was arrested.
