That the Super Eagles and Leicester City forward, Ahmed Musa has divorced his wife , Jamila is no more news but the reasons for the break-up were not entirely revealed.
New details have however unfold as to why the former CSKA Moscow forward put an end to his marriage during the week, after he was arrested for allegedly beating his wife in their home in England.
It was gathered from the family that the former CSKA Moscow forward and his estranged wife, Jamila, agreeably parted ways following conflicting differences which was why he divorced his wife.
The decision was reached by the two parties after efforts to reunite them failed.
In addition,the Ahmed Musa decision to marry a second wife was permitted by Islam but was strongly rejected by Jamila.
“Ahmed loves his wife and would have loved to keep the relationship especially for the sake of their two children.
“He did everything to make Jamila see reason with him but the woman rejected all possibilities
“Several family members interceded in the crisis but the two parties were not ready to shift positions.
“They constantly had disagreements and it was affecting them.
“The wife insisted she could not manage with another woman but Musa was determined about going ahead with it.
“He is a devout Muslim and a responsible husband and instead of keeping mistresses he chose to legally marry a new wife as permitted by his religion.
“His own family members and even his mother supported his plans and there is no going back.
“Ahmed’s mother was in the UK a number of times to speak with Jamila to accept his son’s decision but she refused.”
Regarding his arrest by the UK police, the source confirmed that Musa had disagreements with his wife but never beat her.
Ahmed Musa’s decision to post the picture of the new lady on his Instagram page and calling her ‘my queen’ did not go down well with Jamila which led to their last heated quarrel.
